Webinar: Medicines Supply Tool

Community pharmacy teams are invited to discover more about the DHSC, CMU and SPS Medicines Supply Tool.

The Medicines Supply Team in Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and the Commercial Medicines Unit in NHS England Improvement (NHSEI) worked with Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) to create an online medicines supply tool. The teams are now actively maintaining this tool to support those in practice to manage communications and actions for medicines supply issues.

This webinar will focus on:

• Who the 3 teams are that worked together on the project (CMU, DHSC, and SPS)
• The need for creating an online medicines supply management tool
• The governance processes involved in identifying supply issues and providing national advice on their resolution and mitigation
• A demonstration of the tool
• Feedback from end-users as to how the tool fits into their practice
