Immediate Access to Emergency Medicines

Important Update:
CPH has been in discussions with Herts Valleys and East and North Herts CCGs since March/April 2020 to review the Immediate Access to Emergency Medicines service. It was felt by members that the service needed to be appropriately remunerated, add value to both patients and the system and that it should be regularly reviewed based upon a detailed needs analysis of what is required. Therefore, CPH no longer supports the Immediate Access to Emergency Medicines service within Hertfordshire in its current form. All pharmacy contractors providing the service within Hertfordshire have been emailed by the CPH office advising them of this information.
