Stevenage Health MOTs
Healthy Lifestyles MOT is a project that offers two health checks and 12 weeks of free physical activity to residents of deprived areas in Stevenage. As part of the health check a body scan takes a person’s basic measurements and then fitness consultants offer lifestyle and wellbeing advice based on this including physical exercise and weight loss. The 12 weeks of physical activity are designed to help prevent the development of chronic health problems as well as improve fitness levels, weight management and overall health. Further information is available here. If you would like to order leaflets for the event to signpost patients to the service please contact Juanita Prescott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The LPC supported the following local community initiative by sending out the following letter to the relevant community pharmacies.
