#HertsOneYou week 24-30 July 2017

Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) ran a ‘One You Day’ on 7 July 2016, which encouraged organisations countywide to raise awareness of the One You campaign.

This year HCC is taking a slightly different approach, focusing mainly on social media and encouraging engagement by sharing real life case studies.  HertsOneYou week will be kicking off on 24 July 2017.  HCC will be promoting it all week, mainly on our social media channels @hertscc

The campaign webpage is www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/oneyou. Case studies are available on the campaign website.

The National One You campaign aims to help people move more, eat better, quit smoking, drink less alcohol, sleep better and stress less.

Please help to promote #HertsOneYou week to encourage residents to get a little bit healthier that would be great. Please do take the opportunity next week to promote any activities or events you are involved in to help residents become healthier on your social media pages, share case studies you may already have and encourage members of the public that you are working with to share their own stories.

Please use the hashtag #HertsOneYou so that we can retweet/like/share as many posts as possible and showcase all the great work taking place across Hertfordshire.

Don’t forget, all national One You information and materials are available on the Public Health England Campaign Resource Centre.
