Split Pre-registration Pharmacist Posts

Split Pre-registration Pharmacist Posts

February 4, 2019

Health Education England is committed to long term planning regarding the sustainability of the pharmacy workforce. They wish to expose pharmacy trainees to a reflective range of working environments prior to their registration and beyond. This will support students and trainees to make correct career choices and to have some basic skills and knowledge about the various sectors of practice and enable a more robust inter-professional network across primary care.
They have announced that they are now in a position to receive expressions of interest from GP practices and pharmacies to participate in their split pre-registration pharmacist programme for trainees due to start in the summer of 2020. This is a continuation of  the existing programme for trainees currently in development for 2019. They welcome expressions of interest from partnerships of pharmacies and GP practices that are both new to the programme and current participants.
