Opportunity to apply for community pharmacy Public Health Services 2019/20

February 1, 2019

The application process for community pharmacies, who are not already commissioned to deliver public health services, for either the sexual health service and/or the stop smoking service commissioned by Public Health Hertfordshire is now open. Those pharmacies who are already commissioned to provide either or both services do not need to apply.

All community pharmacies wishing to apply must complete an application form that must be submitted by 5.00pm on 22 February 2019 to phinvoices@hertfordshire.gov.uk. Pharmacies may apply to deliver one or both services on offer: sexual health and/or stop smoking. Public Health Hertfordshire has developed guidance to support the application process that you are encourage to read before applying.

Public Health Hertfordshire will discount the application if it has not been completed correctly or it has not been submitted by the deadline of 5pm on 22 February 2019. It is the responsibility of the pharmacy to complete the form correctly and submit within the timescale.

Please note this will be the only opportunity for community pharmacies to apply to deliver public health services in 2019/20 so please do not miss this opportunity. The service specifications for public health services are available on the LPC website.
