Important changes to LPC support for Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire (CPPQ) 2019/20 and beyond

The LPC would like to inform you of changes to the process of how the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire (CPPQ) will be supported by Hertfordshire LPC in the future.

The LPC continually reviews its priorities and at its last meeting in November 2018 the committee considered how it currently undertakes support to community pharmacy contractors for the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire (CPPQ).

The majority of the committee agreed that support for CPPQ should continue to be provided by Hertfordshire LPC but that it should be supported in a slightly different way in the future. This is in order to free up LPC office capacity and resources to support other areas of work that would benefit community pharmacy.

Therefore the LPC office will continue to provide support for CPPQ but only in the following two ways:

  1. electronically at no additional cost to the community pharmacy whereby you will be provided with a pack by email only and all information (i.e. patient surveys) will be submitted electronically by your pharmacy and the LPC office will undertake the analysis and report in the usual way;

  1. paper at a total cost of £75 per community pharmacy whereby the current process will still operate where you are provided with a paper pack in the post and can return the paper surveys to the office for electronic input and then the LPC office will undertake the analysis and report in the usual way.

Full and further details on how to sign up for LPC support for CPPQ and how the new process will work will be sent to all pharmacies before April 2019 and can be see here.

Please do contact the LPC office on 01707 390095 or info@hertslpc.org.uk if you have any queries.
