Spotting “Red Flag” Symptoms

Wednesday, 21 March, 2018 7.30pm - 9.30pm (Buffet will be served from 7.00pm)
The View, formerly The Fairway Tavern, Old Herns Lane, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL7 2ED.

Patients are being directed to community pharmacies more and more for appropriate advice and to use their community pharmacy as their first port or call.

This event will support pharmacists and the pharmacy team to be clear on referrals procedures to recognise important signs and symptoms when assessing self-limiting conditions/minor ailments.

The training will focus on the three areas of:

  • eyes,
  • fever in children (sepsis)
  • headache

The learning will be facilitated and presented by Zara Mehra , Regional Manager, East of England, CPPE and Dr Vipul Parbat, GP Partner & Integrated Urgent Care Lead for Hertfordshire
