Foundation pharmacist training pathway

The Foundation pharmacist training pathway supports newly qualified pharmacists to develop their knowledge and skills in community pharmacy practice.
The Foundation pharmacist training pathway will support you to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, behaviours and experience to deliver excellent patient care. Mapped to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Foundation practice framework, the programme aims to support you to be capable and competent in your role and ensure quality of care during the first stage of your foundation training – Foundation Stage 1. The 12 month fully-funded programme offers a comprehensive mix of online tutor-supported study, learning activities, workshops, assessment and work-based support through a designated work-based CPPE tutor.
The Foundation pharmacist training pathway will incorporate an element of workplace support and assessment, allowing learning to be applied, developed and demonstrated in a practice environment.
Applications are now open. The deadline for applications is 13 August 2017 and there is a limit of 100 places. The programme will commence on the 2 October 2017. Click here
