Electronic Medicines Optimisation Pathway (EMOP) – Bedfordshire Launch for Lister Hospital

The EMOP service is the electronic and secure transfer of a patient’s discharge information from the hospital to the patient’s nominated pharmacy through the PharmOutcomes platform, if consent is provided by the patient. This will enable you to provide better care and have the knowledge of changes to your patients’ medication.
The EMOP service is live at The Lister Hospital, Stevenage and Princess Alexandra, Harlow and all Hertfordshire community pharmacies have automatically been opted in to receive referrals.
Bedfordshire LPC are offering an EMOP training evening and Hertfordshire pharmacies are most welcome to sign up and attend. Here is a flyer with further details and how to sign up.
