Primary Care Support England
As you are aware Primary Care Support England (PCSE) is now responsible for providing NHS stationery, pre-printed forms, needles and syringes via an online portal to community pharmacies along with validating and processing market entry applications on behalf of NHS England. There is no longer a primary care support function available at the local Welwyn Garden City office.
You can access information on how to make a market entry application from the PCSE website. If pharmacies have any queries about an application they should contact the Customer Support Centre. Contact details for the Customer Support Centre can be found here.
The LPC has been made aware that pre-registration training payments have not been made to community pharmacies due to the handover between the local office and PCSE. The LPC is also experiencing some difficulties with being notified about market entry information and all of these issues have been raised to the PCSE regional manager to request resolution as soon as possible. We are concerned that community pharmacy contractors may be having difficulty with market entry applications or change of ownership notifications. Please let us know by email if you are experiencing these difficulties so we can feed this into the regional manager.
